Dr. Poonperm Vardhanabindu, Sustainability Product Manager at Bureau Veritas Thailand, was a speaker at "Carbon Talk 2023: Transitioning to Low-Carbon Companies and Preparing for CBAM" (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) on the 31st of May 2023.
With Thailand aiming to reach carbon neutrality by 2050, AMATA Facility Services Co., Ltd. and WAVE BCG organised the event aimed at preparing organisations driving towards net zero.
With over 100 people ranging from Chief Executive Officers to Chief Sustainability Officers in attendance, Poonperm, alongside respected speakers James Moore (CEO, WAVE BCG), Mongkhon Tangsiriwit (Business Vice President - Strategic Key Account, Schneider Electric Thailand Co., Ltd.), ittipol lertsakthanakul (Assistant Managing Director, Export-Import Bank of Thailand EXIM), Dr. Puckpimon Singhapong (Country Director of Thailand, ROOTCLOUD Technology Singapore), shared their expertise and know-how.
Through adopting environmentally sound business practices, we can create additional value and returns for our organisation, ensuring sustainability and readiness to comply with the carbon adjustment mechanism before crossing borders, as stipulated by the CBAM policy.
