Bureau Veritas Thailand (BVTH) is honoured to have been entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APEC - Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) to verify and certify the carbon-neutrality of the 29th APEC Summit - APEC 2022 Thailand!
With more than 2,000 participants from 21 countries, the hosting of APEC 2022 is an important occasion for Thailand to show its commitment to climate change. As a world leader in audit and certification services, Bureau Veritas Group helps shape trust and make a positive impact on the society with independence and impartiality. It is therefore significant that BVTH was chosen to partner the Thai government in supporting their journey towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
We would also like to commend Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for providing carbon credits which is the equivalent of approximately 6,000 tons of CO2 to offset GHG emissions from this meeting.
