Ubon Bio Ethanol Completes Greenhouse Gas Verification in Accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018

Bangkok | Bureau Veritas Certification (Thailand) Ltd. presented a greenhouse gas emissions verification certificate in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 to Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE), following the verification of the company’s greenhouse gas emissions.

The certificate was presented by Mr. Saravut Suparatanachatpun, Head of Certification Business, Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Ltd. to Ms. Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE).

The verification covers ethanol production and cassava high-value products. ISO 14064-1:2018 specifies principles and requirements at the organizational level for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals, providing organizations with a systematic framework for developing and reporting their greenhouse gas inventories.

UBE operates businesses related to cassava-based products across three key business areas: ethanol, cassava starch and flour, and organic agriculture and renewable energy.
